Here are 10 neglected soundtrack composers who captured the sounds of hip American music for Italian film audiences. This is like funk and jazz from another universe.

Marvelous list, Ted. I've also been a fan of Italian soundtracks for a few years but still hadn't heard many of these picks.
For my money, though, no list is complete without Peppino de Luca. One of his songs, "Rito a Los Angeles," got reused in the movie Ocean's Twelve, but was removed from the commercial edition of the soundtrack, presumably for its main riff's uncanny resemblance (most would say improvement) to Iron Butterfly's "In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida." I'd need a copyright lawyer to explain why they could use it in the movie but not the CD, but either way, it swings.

Any chance of providi g such playlists for Apple? (I know it is fairly simple to convert playlists between Spotify and Apple to provide both, perhaps also possible with Qobuz?)
